The Lofts of Kennesaw are being built and scheduled to open fall 2012, next to Kennesaw State University’s soccer stadium, for students in and around Kennesaw, Ga.

The Lofts could possibly be one of the most prestigious complexes in the Kennesaw area.  The complex will provide leasing options and amenities unavailable elsewhere.  The Lofts will cost about $599 monthly for a four-bedroom apartment, including Internet and cable.  Most of the floor plans available will be four-bedroom settings, but other options are available at a higher cost.  Each person residing will have access to the 24-hour fitness center, resort-style outdoor pool, sauna and steam room, standing tanning beds and volleyball court.  Students will have the necessary technology to study at the pool hall with touch screen computers and private cubicles.  A free coffee house is available to accommodate resident’s requests as well.  Restaurants, bars and retail stores will be located beneath the complex. These luxuries provided by The Lofts of Kennesaw set standards high for surrounding apartment complexes and dormitories.

Jessica Smith, 20, of the marketing and pre-leasing team said, “While The Lofts of Kennesaw are not directly affiliated with KSU, the owners have chosen Kennesaw to build this project due to the city’s growing population. KSU has continued to grow throughout the years and on-campus housing has ultimately become an issue. The Lofts of Kennesaw will provide an on-campus feel with off-campus rules for students.”

Every bedroom will have a lock and a separate bathroom.  All furniture and appliances, including washers and dryers, will be provided as well.  Parking will be included in all costs.  It is also possible that KSU will provide bus transportation to accommodate students.

Stewart Maxwell, manager of The Lofts and leasing, is encouraging students to reserve rooms on a first come and first served basis.  The leasing office is located at 600 Chastain Rd., Suite 314.  Students attending colleges near KSU include Southern Poly Technical School and Georgia Highlands.
